Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season 7 premieres on ABC. Here’s how to watch “The New Deal” online.

This Wednesday, the premiere of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD season 7 airs on TV screens. The long-running MCU ABC series has captivated audiences for decades and now it’s the beginning of the end and you sure won’t want to miss it!

Agents of SHIELD first hit screens back in 2013. It preceded every superhero show except The CW’s Arrow, making it part of the first wave of superhero shows. And now it will follow in that show’s footsteps by bowing out this year.

The series is set within the confines of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It focuses on Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) – who made his debut appearance in the very first MCU film Iron Man back in 2008 – and the team he assembles at S.H.I.E.L.D.

While some of it is based around the events of the films, the show has taken on its own identity over the years. Understandably, it has amassed a large following of devoted fans – who stuck by it as it battled declining ratings and multiple timeslots.

Season 6 took the show in a new direction – literally as they went into space – and now the final season is going to highlight time paradoxes. This is teased in the season’s promotional material as the posters and trailer feature a period setting.
