3. The Flash

At this point, Superman is the only person that can save The Flash, kidding. The long-awaited solo debut of the Scarlet Speedster has had its up and downs over the past couple of years as it has tried to get off the ground. There have been ever-present rumors suggesting cast changes, and that’s after the movie changed directors more times than The Flash has saved Iris.

With that said, there were reports that suggested The Flash could bring to life the critically acclaimed Flashpoint story arc – the story that sees an emotionally drained Barry break the time barrier and recreate a world where his parents are still part of his life. The only thing is, his Justice League pals either don’t exist or are fighting against one another. Oh, and this world is one without… you guessed it, Superman.

So, how does this work for a Flash movie? Well, in the beginning, The Flash is battling the Rogues with his Justice League pals. Instead of opening with the entire Justice League, he can fight alongside Superman. Let’s be honest, that’s all he’ll really need.

Perhaps Flashpoint is a little overzealous. If not, Superman could also come in to help Flash with any big bad at the start of the movie before telling him he must learn to be a hero on his own. Or, he could show up at the end of the movie and re-recruit him to fight alongside the other members of the Justice League as they look to take on Darkseid.
