3. Swamp Thing

Another core member of the team, Swamp Thing being added to the recurring cast now would actually make for some pitch perfect timing as DC Universe’s live-action crack at giving the character his own show was cancelled last year.

Despite its cancellation after just one season, there was enough positive reviews from both fans and critics alike to suggest that adding Swamp Thing to the HBO Max series would be a wise decision, especially if HBO wants to bring many of those DC Universe fans over to their own streaming service. Bringing back a character from the fans’ favorite modern cult classic of a show should certainly boost their subscriber count a bit.

Not to mention, beyond just satisfying TV audiences, Swamp Thing is just an all around important member of the group in the comic books. He has been one of the more consistent fixtures of the Justice League Dark team to the point that it would be disappointing to see HBO Max move along without including Swamp Thing on the show in some way.

Even if there is some issue preventing them from having Swamp Thing switch streaming services, it would be wise to work some sort of deal out to let the switch come to fruition.
