Wilson Fisk

This one is arguably the most interesting of them all. Wilson Fisk is a slimy, ruthless, uncaring monster. He’s escaped jail, gone to prison, left prison, and later became Mayor of New York. Would this be any different in the DC comic book universe? Better question is where would he go?

Gotham is too dark and disgusting for him, plus he’d detest the criminals there. Metropolis is more his style. A bright city with a hero that he’d call gullible. Superman would detest Fisk more than Luthor. But Fisk isn’t going to attack the Man of Steel – he’s not foolish enough to think he could win that fight. What Fisk would do is bring drugs and gang-like crime to Metropolis.

Superman would probably reach out to Batman to take care of him. A hopeful hero like him can’t be seen beating on a “legitimate” businessman with no proof. A nocturnal vigilante known for cleaning up the streets of Gotham, however, now that might be enough to take Fisk down.

Fantastic Four

Not much would change with Marvel’s First Family in the DC Universe. They’d remain comic book adventurers and their lifestyle wouldn’t be altered. The fun part would be when they interact with new and amazing beings. For example, the Lantern Corps.

Reed would be intrigued by how the Green Lanterns’ rings work. Ben Grimm could be a prime candidate for a willpower ring – no one fights the Hulk that many times, loses, and still has the will to keep on battling him. Sue Storm would be praised for her power as well as being a mother. Johnny Storm would just end up getting knocked out for hitting on Wonder Woman one too many times.
