What do we need from Kitty Pryde in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
Kitty Pryde started off as a young timid girl looking to control her powers. It may have gone like that if it wasn’t for the Hellfire Club. On Kitty’s first day, her future X-Men teammates were beaten and captured by Emma Frost and the Hellfire Club. Heck of an introduction. Although, it gave her an example of what her world was going to be like. As time’s gone on, Kitty has become an important member of the X-Men.
We’ve seen Kitty Pryde twice in the movies. Once in X-Men: The Last Stand and again in X-Men: Days of the Future Past. The latter had her use powers that she’s never had. Taking away from her being a crucial part of the original story. Nonetheless, she was part of the 20th Century Fox franchise. She’s even had a memorable moment when she defeated the Juggernaut. That said, Kitty can be more than that. She can be an iconic member of the X-Men.
Now, Marvel Studios has an opportunity to do right by one of the X-Men’s best characters. Now, how can they get it right? Here are five things that can make Kitty Pryde’s time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe a memorable one.
