Young actor

Kitty Pryde joined Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters when she was barely in high school. This isn’t unheard of. The original team were teenagers as well. However, it was different with Kitty. She wasn’t being recruited to be a member of the X-Men. It just happened to work out. Since she was young when the X-Men started, having a youthful actor could make the future brighter.

Marvel Studios can let Kitty Pryde grow just like she did in the comic books. She can then evolve from young and apprehensive to a confident leader. Imagine seeing a 16-year-old newcomer grow into everything the way that Kitty Pryde in the comics did. We could be looking at someone who could potentially play the character for around 20 years. We’ve seen adults grow into their roles. Tom Holland and Zendaya were 20 when they made their MCU debuts and they’ve grown a great deal since then.

This is an opportunity to do something unprecedented. We’ve yet to see someone start as a teenager and finish as a leader in the MCU. Tom Holland’s Spidey may be the first, but it’s doubtful that Spider-Man will ever be a sole leader. He can lead in battle, but he’s not looked at as the guy in charge. He’s too apprehensive.

Kitty, however, grew into that role and that’s something the MCU could pull off with ease.
