5. Keep The Rock as the DCEU’s Black Adam

Black Adam is set to release in 2021 with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson starring. It has been a long time since The Rock was first announced as Black Adam, but the end result should be worth it.

The Rock is the most successful actor in Hollywood today. Nearly all of his projects have been hits with many more to come. It is The Rock’s busy schedule that has delayed his arrival as Black Adam, but to be fair to him, it’s possible that no one at Warner Bros. had any idea on what to do with his character.

No matter what happens, The Rock has earned the trust of fans that he and everyone working on Black Adam can make the character work and ensure he becomes a popular aspect of the DCEU.

It would be foolish of Warner Bros. to just drop the character (or even recast him) after one movie. The fact that The Rock has stayed on for this long shows that he is still interested in the character.

The Rock clearly isn’t short of huge offers, but he has chosen to stay on as Black Adam, and he should be rewarded for it. If The Rock wants to do something, let him do it.

Many changes are on the horizon for the DCEU, but The Rock’s Black Adam should not be one of them.
