Stargirl has been thoroughly entertaining comic book fans over the past six weeks. The new DC Universe series has been a gem for subscribers of the streaming service while also reaching a much wider audience with its weekly broadcast on The CW. However, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has now revealed when fans can expect the show to hit home video.

In the release, it was confirmed that fans can purchase their copies of Stargirl: The Complete First Season on DVD and Blu-Ray on Tuesday September 29, 2020.

The release date is actually pretty soon when you factor in that the show is still currently airing. In fact, as it’s only halfway through its 13-episode first season, it should complete its run in mid-August, meaning that you don’t have long to wait until hit shelves. The show debuted on both DC Universe and The CW in mid-May and it follows the adventures of Courtney Whitmore as she wields the Cosmic Staff in a bid to stop the resurfacing Injustice Society. And upon learning that the ISA killed the original Justice Society of America, she sets out to start a new generation of the JSA.

Stargirl stars Brec Bassinger, Yvette Monreal, Anjelika Washington, Cameron Gellman, Trae Romano, Jake Austin Walker, Meg DeLacy, Neil Jackson, Christopher James Baker, Hunter Sansone, Amy Smart and Luke Wilson. It received highly positive reviews from fans and critics, with many believing it to be one of the best superhero shows of the year thus far.
