Marvel: Can these MCU villains defeat the Mad Titan Thanos?
By Mark Lynch
Vs Killmonger
This writer loves Killmonger as much as the next person. He’s among the best and most dominant villains the MCU has ever seen.
In terms of hand-to-hand combat, he definitely has the skill to compete with Thanos. He also has speed and quickness over him. The problem here is that Killmonger loses on experience, strength, power, and technology.
Thanos’ blade cut through Captain America’s shield. The suit Killmonger wore at the end of Black Panther wouldn’t hold up against Thanos’ spear. This fight would last a lot longer than you’d probably think. Nonetheless, the end result is the same.
Vs Ronan the Accuser
Just, no. We saw how scared Ronan was of Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1. If it wasn’t for the giant armor he wore, we probably would’ve seen him literally shaking in his boots.
You could tell by the way he reacted when Thanos put him in his place. Ronan didn’t talk back, he sunk into himself in fear. Furthermore, he didn’t get bold until he acquired an Infinity Stone.
Aside from all that, he just doesn’t have any superior qualities. We could wager than Thanos wouldn’t bother showing up to fight him. It wouldn’t be worth his time. Instead, he’d send the Black Order (Black Dwarf, Corvus Glaive, Ebony Maw, Proxima Midnight, and Supergiant) to handle his light work.
