The Boys season 2 trailers promise an even more intense season

Meet The Seven’s newest member, Homelander.

This was hilarious. Homelander and Queen Maeve are doing a commercial for the United States’ Marines, asking for people’s support only to be interrupted by some random woman on her phone live-streaming on social media. She jokes that they’re not even on a real base, saying there’s no way Homelander is eating M.R.E.s (Meal Ready to Eat). Homelander and Maeve approach her and ask what’s going on and that’s when she drops the bomb: Her name is Stormfront and she’s the newest member of The Seven. Homelander asks who approved this and she says that Mr. Edgar did. Homelander sarcastically approves, knowing that if the CEO approves this then there’s nothing he can do about it.

Stormfront certainly made an impression. Fans of the comic can already see she’s nothing like the comic book version and that’s beyond the change in gender. Stormfront in the comics is an ultra-serious jerk. This one seems to be more sarcastic.

She also seems to have a grasp on how to keep her fans entertained. This is probably why she’s on the team. Being attuned to how people are getting information is key to any company’s success. One thing is for sure, she’s going to have an altercation with Homelander. Stormfront may go too far and they may have to fight.
