The full season 2 trailer for the Umbrella Academy just dropped and needless to say: IT BRINGS THE HEAT!

Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy made an memorable debut on the streaming service early last year. The original TV show is based on the Dark Horse comic book series of the same name and it both entertained fans of the source material and introduced these colorful characters to a new generation of fans.

When faced with the impending apocalypse in the first season of The Umbrella Academy, our reunited team of misfits fail…and take the only solution anyone would think of… to travel back in time of course!

They all landed in the same city, but spread out across a three year timeframe.  And the Apocalypse came back with them.

Netflix has officially released the full trailer for the show’s second season, and let’s just say things get a little hot! Check it out below:

The trailer sets us up for what looks like it could be an amazing ’60s themed season. We get a good dive into what all of the family has been up to since we last saw them: Klaus is running a cult, Luther is fighting in an underground fighting ring, Diego is institutionalized and more.  We also learn from Five they have only 10 days to stop the apocalypse… which also appears to be linked to the Kennedy Assassination.

Will the cold war turn hot?  Will the creepy Swedes succeed in taking them down?  Will the family successfully avert the apocalypse and end their time travel based butterfly effect?

We don’t have to wait much longer as the season premiers on Netflix on July 31, 2020. Be prepared for our episode-by-episode analysis when it releases!

Here is Netflix’s Summary of Season 2:

"“Five warned his family (so, so many times) that using his powers to escape from Vanya’s 2019 apocalypse was risky. Well, he was right — the time jump scatters the siblings in time in and around Dallas, Texas. Over a three year period. Starting in 1960. Some, having been stuck in the past for years, have built lives and moved on, certain they’re the only ones who survived. Five is the last to land, smack dab in the middle of a nuclear doomsday, which — spoiler alert! — turns out is a result of the group’s disruption of the timeline (déjà vu, anyone?) Now the Umbrella Academy must find a way to reunite, figure out what caused doomsday, put a stop to it, and return to the present timeline to stop that other apocalypse. All while being hunted by a trio of ruthless Swedish assassins. But seriously, no pressure or anything.”"
