This week, a new episode of Stargirl arrives on DC Universe and The CW. The new superhero series has been a big hit with fans and now its back for season 1’s penultimate episode.
Stargirl has followed the life newbie superhero Courtney Whitmore (Brec Bassinger). Since moving to Blue Valley, Courtney has discovered that her stepfather Pat Dugan (Luke Wilson) used to be Starman’s (Joel McHale) sidekick. She also discovered that the Injustice Society were still in Blue Valley.
Becoming Stargirl, Courtney assembled her own team of heroes. The second generation of the Justice Society of America also consists of Yolanda Montez (Yvette Monreal) as the second Wildcat, Beth Chapel (Anjelika Washington) as the second Dr. Mid-Nite and Rick Tyler (Cameron Gellman) carrying on his father’s legacy as the second Hourman.

Recent episodes have seen the ISA learn of Courtney’s true identity. As a result, Brainwave (Christopher James Baker) and Icicle (Neil Jackson) have decided that its time to kill her – in spite of the latter’s affections for Courtney’s mother Barbara Whitmore (Amy Smart).
With the Injustice Society so close to completing their plan, it’s now up to Stargirl, the JSA and Pat as his new heroic (and robotic) alter-ego S.T.R.I.P.E. to stop them and protect their family. The question is: In the twelfth and penultimate episode, can they make that happen?
