If you’re desperately waiting for The Flash to return to television screens, fret not as there are plenty of stories to tide you over until the series is able to return.

With production still on hold for many TV shows and films, it’s unclear when they will be able to resume shooting and, in the case of the former, release new episodes once again. This goes for The Flash, as well as the rest of the CW’s lineup – including all of its Arrowverse shows.

Currently, there’s a hopeful start date for the CW shows that film in Vancouver around August 20-27, but that could change at any time. Regardless though, there will be a long wait for The Flash and other shows to return, but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t more stories with these characters out there.

There are probably many people who watch The Flash currently who have never picked up a comic book, which is totally fine. You don’t need to be a comic book reader to enjoy the show. However, if you want to learn even more about the characters on the show and experience stories that the show will more than likely never be able to do for various reasons, you absolutely should check out these comics.

This list is very new-reader friendly as well as everyone has to start somewhere (and not be like this writer and start with Crisis on Infinite Earths).
