This Thursday, a new episode of Doom Patrol season 2 hits screens. The DC Universe original show returned a little over a month ago and now it’s ready to air its season finale.
Doom Patrol season 2 made headlines a little while back when it was revealed that it would stream on both its original home of DC Universe and new streaming service HBO Max. And that’s exactly what happened when its special three-premiere arrived in June 2020.
A beloved addition to the comic book programming landscape, the first season was incredibly well-received by both fans and critics.

Though many were uncertain in terms of what to expect, they quickly fell for the likes of Cliff Steele (Brendan Fraser/Riley Shanahan), Larry Trainor (Matt Bomer/Matthew Zuk), Rita Farr (April Bowlby), Jane (Diane Guerrero), Vic Stone/Cyborg (Jovian Wade) and the brilliant Niles Caulder (Timothy Dalton).
The second season has carried on the wonderfully outrageous shenanigans the show is renowned for. However, the end of the season is almost at hand as the second offering was supposed to consist of 10 episodes, but due to everything happening in the world, production wasn’t completed on the final one. As a result, it will end with its upcoming finale “Wax Patrol”.
