Here are five ways to get the X-Men’s Iceman right in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The X-Men have been popular in comic books for decades. Having a variety of characters with different personalities helps this. No matter what you like there’s a character for you.

There is also a lot of diversity and representation. Nightcrawler is Christian, Monet St. Croix is Muslim, and Kitty Pryde is Jewish. There are also scientists, people who enjoy the outdoors, and a host of funny and serious characters.

All of this range is going to help make the X-Men popular with fans when they debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One X-Man in particular has the potential to be an immediate hit. His name is Robert “Bobby” Drake a.k.a. Iceman.

There are rumors that we could see Shia LaBeouf play the role, but regardless of who does, the character’s popularity is undisputed.

Along with Cyclops, Angel, Beast and Jean Grey, Bobby is one of the original five X-Men recruited by Professor Charles Xavier. He’s battled gods, giants, mutants, and beings with the ability to destroy the world. Throughout it all, he’s remained true to his team and himself.

Going forward, Iceman should be someone that fans instantly love and who can relate to. He has the potential to be even more popular than Deadpool – especially since his character is for all ages. Hopefully, Marvel Studios will have these aspects of Iceman when he makes his debut.
