Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy offered us a lot of story potential for Season 3, and here’s what we’d love to see in a third season. Be warned: spoilers incoming.

The Umbrella Academy’s second season came and went fast, especially if you decided to binge them all in one day when it premiered last week. The show has not even been officially greenlit for another season yet – although, with all of the popularity it gained, especially during this new season, another season seems likely – and yet many of us already eagerly anticipating a third season.

It’s easy to see why that may be the case, especially given how the second season ended. We saw The Handler meet her demise, there’s a new face in charge of The Commission, there’s a super-powered boy and a white-haired Swede walking around in 1963, and our team returned to 2019 to find out their “father” is running an entirely new team – The Sparrow Academy – and their dear old Ben is alive.

Yeah … just writing that out just now felt like a lot. There was a lot going on during season 2’s final minutes and it felt like we received way more questions than answers. If nothing else, we at least go into a probable season 3 with some high expectations.

Not only expectations in terms of quality, but some expectations just in terms of where we hope the story goes next …
