DC Fandome: Darkseid debuts in the trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League
Zack Snyder unveiled the first trailer for the Justice League Snyder Cut and it’s nothing short of jaw-dropping.
The fan campaign to bring Zack Snyder’s vision of Justice League to the screen finally came to fruition a few months back when it was confirmed that the director’s cut of the controversial DCEU movie would see the light of day on HBO Max next year.
Following the critical and commercial failure of 2017’s Justice League, fans of Snyder took issue with the fact that the studio ended up producing a film that was nothing like the film the director wanted to create – something that wasn’t help by the fact that he and Joss Whedon (who was brought in during Snyder’s mid-film absence) were essentially making two very different movies.
However, it all paid off thanks to the determination of fans and, as a result, Snyder himself made that vision all the more real at DC Fandome, when he unveiled a special first look at his version of the film.

The trailer definitely continues the theme of the previously-released trailers in presenting the Snyder Cut as more of a mythical, godly adventure than the finished product ended up being. The tone looks to be much darker and the red skies have all been replaced with grim-looking blue ones. Oh yeah, and Darkseid looks set to unleash a huge amount of destruction.
It’s safe to say that anticipation is high for the long-awaited re-release of the once-reviled movie, and by the looks of things, we’re in for a visually jaw-dropping spectacle.
