2. Henry Cavill’s Superman

We have all missed seeing Henry Cavill as Superman; it’s why we’re still clamoring for that Man of Steel sequel that still hasn’t happened. Of course, all hope seemed lost when rumors surfaced that Cavill dropped out as Superman. In May, however, our hope was restored (like Batman’s was after Supes’ friendship) as Variety set the comic book movie world ablaze reporting Cavill’s return as the Superman.

Naturally, our gears turned at the possibility of both MoS and Justice League sequels, among other appearances for Supes. We’re simply thirsty for Superman and one way to quench our thirst is a cameo appearance in The Flash. There are a few ways we could get a Henry Cavill Superman cameo. First, take a page from Flashpoint and show a world without Superman. Give us a quick scene of a decrepit Cavill in a science lab.

Another option is to have Superman show up to check on Barry, advising the young hero before he makes a decision that can impact the Multiverse. Clark explains his desire to save his parents, he wished he could have saved his father (Man of Steel scene). Barry’s too emotional to listen, so he defies Superman’s advice and runs anyway. Another option is the end of the race from Whedon/Snyder’s Justice League.
