Mastermind

Mastermind was once a member of the elite group called the Hellfire Club. They all lived a very aristocratic lifestyle and they were all good-looking and powerful people who could use their power to influence the movers and shakers of the world.

Mastermind’s powers made people see, smell, hear, and taste things that aren’t there. He used them on those around him, making himself appear more attractive than he really was. It helped with his confidence when he was around his associates.

This could be the perfect role for Shia LaBeouf. He can play up the insecurity part of Mastermind when we see his true face, but also show the narcissistic side when he’s casting his illusions. LaBeouf may not be the lead with a role like Mastermind, but he would be a crucial part of the story and the team.

If the MCU attempted to do the Phoenix Saga, Mastermind would also be a pivotal part of that story. After all, he was a big part of controlling Jean Grey into the Hellfire Club. And this could ultimately give Shia LaBeouf a chance to shine in an important part of Marvel Comics history.
