X-Men’s Troye Sivan reunites with dog after seven months and it’s everything
Former X-Men Origins: Wolverine star and pop superstar Troye Sivan reunited with his dog Nash after seven months apart and it’s the content we need right now.
With everything that is going on right now, the world can seem a little scary. Thankfully, we have the internet – or in this case YouTube sensation Troye Sivan – to provide us with the comforting content we crave.
The singer recently reunited with his dog Nash in Los Angeles and it’s so unbelievably heart-warming this writer could cry just thinking about it. No, that was in no way an intentional pun and just so happens to reference one of his latest songs.
A reunion of heart-warming proportions
The outbreak of the novel coronavirus upended the whole year for the human race, resulting in lockdowns and quarantines all over the world. For Sivan, that meant leaving the United States (after production of a film he was working on in Atlanta got shut down) and returning home to Australia to self-isolate. It also meant leaving his beloved dog, Nash, in Los Angeles with friends.
Flash forward seven months and Sivan has returned home and reunited with his “son”. Anxious about heading back to L.A., he decided to return to his YouTube roots and document the journey back, including the reunion with Nash. Check it out below:
As seen in the above video, Sivan surprises Nash in his house and is greeted by an incredibly affectionate display of love from the dog. No, I’m not crying – you’re crying!
Troye, of course, first made his presence felt as one of the first wave of YouTubers before hitting the music scene with his critically-acclaimed albums Blue Neighbourhood and Bloom (his third project, an EP titled In A Dream, was just recently released). He also portrayed young Logan in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
This marks the first vlog-like video he has uploaded on his channel in some time as he stopped producing regular content for YouTube a number of years back to focus on his music career.
