Superman and Lois is one of the most anticipated new shows of 2021 and now a new trailer has given us our first preview of the Arrowverse show.

The Arrowverse continues to grow in 2021 as the newest installment, Superman and Lois, will ascend onto our screens in January.

Starring Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch as the Man of Steel, Clark Kent/Superman, and Lois Lane respectively, the pair will reprise their roles from previous episodes of Supergirl as well as multiple Arrowverse crossovers.

While none of the Arrowverse TV shows will be part of The CW’s fall schedule – due to the delays caused by the global pandemic – the network has released a brand new trailer for the collective return of the shared universe of superheroes. And it just so happens to include a preview of Superman and Lois.

Check it out below:

A trailer that divided fans because of the use of the word “CWVerse” as opposed to Arrowverse, it documents some of the history of the network’s superheroes thus far, showcasing how it all started through one man’s journey and brought us to a shared universe full of heroes. It then closes with a preview of Superman and Lois.

More from Arrowverse

It doesn’t show any new footage because there hasn’t been any filmed yet, but it reuses some shots from Superman’s appearances on Supergirl and both the Elseworlds and Crisis On Infinite Earths crossovers (as well as a snippet from Smallville).

It does, however, feature some new dialogue, revealing that Clark and Lois plan a family trip with their children to Smallville – during which he will run into some faces from his past.

With the show hoping to start production soon, it will hopefully be up, up and away from here on out for Superman and Lois.
