Marvel Comic: Empyre: Fallout Fantastic Four No. 1

Before Empyre started, the Fantastic Four saved two alien children from being forced to be gladiators. After Empyre, the future of the Skrull child N’Kalla and the Kree Jo-Venn were up in the air. Their former “owner” tried to reclaim them. Obviously, none of the heroes were going to let that happen. Hulking let her know that she was no longer affiliated with the Skrull or Krees and she left. After the avoided battle, Hulkling named Ben Grimm and Alecia Masters-Grimm the guardians of N’Kalla and Jo-Venn. The Fantastic Four’s family just got a little bigger.

Why is this important?

This is more about fun than big consequences. They won’t be the first random beings that the Fantastic Four have brought in. They’ve brought in Moloids, mutants, a clone of The Wizard, and others. The fun here will be seeing how N’Kalla and Jo-Venn will adjust to humans and how humans will react to seeing aliens. In a world of mutants and gods, humans still act weird around aliens. It’s kind of funny. Also, Ben and Alicia get to have a family in their home. They may not have been able to otherwise. It was a really sweet moment. Ben and Alicia deserve all the happiness in the world. And those kids deserve a chance to have a better life.
