The first look at Lucifer’s musical episode is here and it’s everything

Lucifer season 5 will feature a special musical episode when it returns to Netflix and the DC FanDome sneak peek is amazing.

If you’ve found yourself craving more Lucifer after bingeing the first part of the TV show’s fifth season (and maybe even rewatching the first four seasons in preparation) in recent weeks, then you’re in luck because DC FanDome just gave you the gift you truly didn’t know you needed.

One of the many DC shows taking part in the event, Lucifer provided fans with an exclusive panel that shared some details for what they can expect from the second half of the show’s fifth season whenever it arrives on the streaming service. Among those details was discussion in regards to the upcoming musical episode.

Yes, you read that right: Lucifer is indeed doing a musical episode.

Speaking of which, the discussion prompted the showrunners to share an exclusive clip with fans from the musical episode and, well, let’s just say that we won’t be forgetting it in a hurry.

With Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) clearly investigating a new murder, the clip kicks off like the majority of the show’s episodes. But that’s where things start to get strange as the former begins looking around himself just as everyone around him starts singing “Another One Bites The Dust” by Queen.

Before long, Chloe, Ella Lopez (Aimee Garcia), the whole stadium and even the dead body get involved in the musical number and, eventually, Lucifer himself joins in. It’s a sight that makes for an elaborate musical performance that simply can’t be missed. And it’s going to make for one very unforgettable episode.

Tom Ellis himself has since shared the clip on social media and it’s received adoration from fans.

Yeah this is definitely going to be a memorable one!
