World destroying power

This could be the most important of all. The Phoenix Saga started and ended because of what it can do. It has the ability to destroy planets in less time than Galactus. Making the power of Jean Grey and the Phoenix Force a priority makes sense. Why would the Hellfire Club and the Shi’ar go to great lengths to obtain or destroy someone with average power? Answer: They wouldn’t.

Jean Grey is already the strongest telekinetic in the world. Adding the Phoenix Force puts her in a class all by herself.

In the previous two movies with the Phoenix, Jean Grey was powerful. In X-Men: The Last Stand she was dusting people without the need of an Infinity Gauntlet. In Dark Phoenix, however, she should have been more. It was more about her telekinesis than her being a cosmic-level destroyer of worlds. If she is going to garner the kind of attention of all the X-Men (and maybe the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe), then we need to see some pizzazz.

This may seem unattainable, but it isn’t. Marvel Studios has shown that cosmic level events are possible. The success of the Dark Phoenix Saga will give people hope for things like Planet/World War Hulk, Chaos War, and Avengers vs X-Men. All projects that would be praised by the fans. Hopefully, Marvel Studios will give us the project we all want and deserve.
