Titans season 3 to feature the return of this major character
The extended panel at DC FanDome for Titans season 3 featured a very familiar face – one that suggests a major character will be returning from the dead for the third offering.
DC’s Titans unveiled an extended panel during the second day of DC FanDome, during which they actually addressed one person’s participation and what that meant for Titans season 3. The DC Universe original series is expected to return to filming at some point in the coming two months and it appears that one person will indeed be joining.
The panel featured Conor Leslie who has portrayed Donna Troy/Wonder Girl on the show since the beginning of its run – first in a recurring capacity and then in a regular role in season 2.
The original panel never actually addressed her appearance – which many found strange considering her character had been killed off in the previous season’s finale – but this one featured an interesting exchange as Leslie smirked when asked about her presence and deferred to showrunner Greg Walker.

Walker didn’t outright confirm that the character would return, but he did mention that the show would be exploring themes of death and the afterlife and that Rachel Roth/Raven (Teagan Croft) would somehow be involved in that. He then alluded to her return by suggesting that, hypothetically, she would be greatly impacted by her experience.
Fans have speculated that this means Rachel will somehow use her powers to communicate with Donna in the underworld or that she will be involved in resurrecting her through the use of a Lazarus Pit. Remember, she did accompany the Amazons to Themyscira when they took her body back to Paradise Island.
While it’s yet to be officially confirmed that Wonder Girl will return, it goes without saying that fans would love to see it. Donna’s unexpected death in the season 2 finale was reviled by fans and critics, ending a season that had been a significant improvement on a really disappointing note.
Here’s hoping the wrong is righted in Titans season 3.
