Paladin

Who is Paladin? If you’re not into Marvel Comics you probably haven’t heard of him. Actually, even if you are, there’s a chance you won’t know who he is. Going a step further, there isn’t much we know about him in general. Sometimes he’s a guy who’s just taking money from whoever pays him. Other times he’s putting his life in danger by doing what’s right.

A recent example was during the Marvel Comics event Siege. He was supposed to be helping the Thunderbolts get the Spear of Odin for Norman Osborn. Instead, he betrayed them. He knew a weapon like that shouldn’t be in Osborn’s hands.

Jensen Ackles playing Paladin would be amazing. Because of Paladin’s enigmatic past, they could tailor-make that role for him. Will he be a villain? Will they create an origin to explain why he’s the way he is? Or, will he be exactly who he is in the comic books? A mercenary with some morals that has no problem changing sides when he sees the error of his ways.

Another good thing about Paladin is that he’s funny. There have been a bunch of occasions where you’ll read Paladin and see Dean Winchester’s humor. If there’s ever a Thunderbolts project while Osborn is in charge, make Jensen Ackles Paladin.
