The Leader

Samuel Sterns is and isn’t a She-Hulk villain per sé. While typically a Bruce Banner villain, The Leader has recently been messing with anyone that has gamma radiation in their blood. We saw a glimpse of him in The Incredible Hulk movie. It’s sad that it was the last time we saw him. Since we know he exists in the MCU, now would be a perfect time to bring him back in. This would be a great way to introduce him to the world because he’d be the perfect person for Jennifer Walters and She-Hulk to battle.

The Leader is a manipulative genius – so much so that he outsmarted Mephisto. A feat that very few have accomplished. Introducing him in She-Hulk gives Jennifer Walters a smart villain to go up against. He can challenge her in the courtroom as well as in a physical battle.

The Leader isn’t a powerhouse, but he has other abilities. He’s both telepathic and telekinetic – two powers that could give Jennifer Walters problems. His telekinesis means he can fight her from a distance. The problem is she’ll eventually get to him. It’s his telepathy that’s a game-changer. He can make other people see her as a villain or put them in harm’s way and she can’t attack innocent people.

The Leader may not be the first big bad, but trust this writer; we’ll see Samuel Sterns before season 1 ends and he’ll be a threat in the future.
