Superman and Lois casts Smallville reporter in potentially huge role
Mad About You star Sofia Hasmik will play the role of a Smallville Gazette reporter on Superman and Lois TV show.
Sounds like Superman and Lois has found its latest news reporter! As revealed by Entertainment Weekly, Mad About You‘s Sofia Hasmik will playing a character named Chrissy Beppo. – who is reportedly a Smallville Gazette reporter and will be a recurring character throughout the Arrowverse show’s first season.
Hasmik’s character is also described as “a go-getter with dreams of bigger and better things” whose life changes after “a chance encounter with her idol.” Naturally, we are all beginning to suspect that her idol is indeed none other than Lois Lane herself.
In light of everything happening in the world right now which brought the entertainment industry to a standstill, many TV and film productions haven’t been able to resume as of yet. Some of The CW’s programming, however, have indeed begun to pick pick up where they left off – including Batwoman, Riverdale and The Flash just to name a few (as well as DC’s Titans). Superman and Lois is nearly set to begin production as well.
