WandaVision fan theories: Is Wanda stuck in a time loop?

Time travel was a big deal in Avengers: Endgame, and it’s safe to assume fans haven’t seen the last of it in the MCU. It was also heavily used in Doctor Strange, and WandaVision ties into that film’s sequel leaving some to believe that the Scarlet Witch might be stuck in a time loop.

Basically, the theory, which comes from a very knowledgable fan on Reddit, suggests that the different versions we see of Wanda and Vision are the result of the Avenger being stuck in a time loop with each iteration eventually falling apart for a number of reasons, forcing her to start over again attempting a new scenario hoping that it sticks.

The theory also states that these alternate versions could collapse because of the deception being discovered or the damage her interference does to that particular universe’s timeline to the point where it can no longer be maintained. This could lead to WandaVision playing out like Groundhog Day or Edge of Tomorrow, where each installment is another scenario, similar to how Doctor Strange, a character that ties into this franchise, took down Dormammu.

If this theory holds up, it would absolutely back up the ambitious claims made by the studio that WandaVision would be unlike any other series Marvel has released.
