Batman No. 101

Comic Book: Batman No.101

The Joker War is over, but the Dark Knight is feeling the ramifications both as Batman and Bruce Wayne. The investors at Wayne Enterprises want Bruce Wayne out of the company, Lucius Fox says that he can’t continue to make him gadgets, and Bruce is moving out of Wayne Manor. That’s all on top of Catwoman and Batman taking a year away from each other to keep her safe. His hero life and real life are both in shambles. That’s bad for him, but good for readers.

Why is this important?

Now, we get to see what Batman is really made of. He won’t have the ability to wreck a Batmobile and get a new one. If he wrecks it, he’ll do the repairs himself (which Lucius pointed out). How is Bruce going to make his weapons? Is he going to have to use a normal laptop instead of his futuristic computer he’s used to? All of this is probably going to happen and Batman fans should be ecstatic.

This could be the perfect starting point for new readers. New fans are going to see what Batman can really do. He’ll be relying heavily on the skills that he’s acquired over the years – not just his tech. This is truly going to be a new age for the Dark Knight.
