X-Men: Predicting which characters may die in X of Swords

Apocalypse

Apocalypse is one of the twelve members of The Quiet Council. He also holds one of the more important and powerful seats with Charles Xavier and Magneto. What’s funny is if not for Apocalypse, this war wouldn’t have started. He’s the one that ventured into Arakko and gave birth to the Four Horsemen.

Chance of death: High

Apocalypse is one that this writer thinks is most likely to die in the comic. He has a debt to pay to his wife and his children. Apocalypse’s fight is going to come down to whether or not he’s  going to put everything into his fight with his wife or if he’s gone soft like she said. After their talk in X-Men, something has to give. Maybe he stays in Arakko after this war is over.

Magik

Magik has been one of the best characters since Hickman revamped the X-Men’s lore in 2019. She became one of the Great Captains of Krakoa. Every time we’ve seen her she’s shown why she was given that title. With her holding the Soul Sword, who’s shocked that she’s among the fighters?

Chance of death: High

Here’s the funny thing about Magik dying, it may not make a difference. Her connection to Limbo may save her from needing the Resurrection Protocols. If she dies, she may know how to come back to the land of the living.
