Starlight

Starlight is the only member of The Seven that wants to be a hero. It was her dream since she developed powers. She was crestfallen when she found out her mother took money to give her Compound V. Even after that, Starlight still wanted to do what’s right. She remained on The Seven and with Vought International to keep an eye on them. She’s aware that remaining there keeps her in danger. However, Starlight looks at this as her duty.

You have to love Starlight’s outlook on life. She finds out that everything she hoped for was wrong and continues to press on. After what The Deep did to her, we wouldn’t have been shocked if she became emotionless. Instead, she became braver. The true mark of a hero. Sign her up for The Defenders.

As much as Starlight may want to be an Avenger in Marvel Comics (or part the Justice League in DC Comics), she’d fit in better with Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Daredevil. Starlight seems like she wants to be around the people – protecting them from threats like Jigsaw and Tombstone. She can’t do that if she’s off in another galaxy.

Starlight would eventually get the chance to be among the stars, but she’s a better fit fighting among the street heroes – at least at first.
