The Flash season 7 cast: Who’s out for Season 7?

Hartley Sawyer: Since season 4, Hartley Sawyer has been portraying the character of Ralph Dibney (also known as the Elongated Man). However, earlier in 2020, offensive tweets from Sawyer surfaced which led to a backlash on social media. That backlash led to the actor being fired from the role.

While there has been some talk of replacing the actor, there has not been any news yet as to who might take over the role or if it will in fact be recast.

After three seasons on The Flash, it will be interesting to see how the series handles the loss of Sawyer and if they do decide to replace the character with a new actor, as that does seem to be up for discussion.

At this point, while Hartley Sawyer may be out, it seems that the rest of the cast is back in action, and ready for whatever comes their way after the recent crossover event that shook up the Arrowverse.
