DC TV: Who’s in, who’s out on The Flash, Batwoman, Titans and more
Stargirl season 2: Who’s out for Season 2?
Jake Austin Walker: At the end of DC’s Stargirl Season 1, we got one last chance to see Jake Austin Walker in the role of Henry King aka Brainwave Jr. And in an interview with TV Line, series creator Geoff Johns confirmed that this really was the end of the road for the character. In the season finale, we saw the original Brainwave try and trick Yolanda by pretending to be his son, which was a play off the comic trope in which death is never the end. However, it seems that this really is the end of the road for Walker, and it really is sad news.
Neil Jackson: In Season 1 of DC’s Stargirl, we were introduced to a few different members of the Injustice Society of America (ISA), including Neil Jackson’s Icicle. And while the character was definitely a major aspect of the first season, his story came to a rather rough end after he got shattered into a million pieces of ice when a car ran him over. Considering he was a villain, we aren’t necessarily saddened by the fact that he is gone, however, it will be a bit sad not to see Jackson popping up on our screens going forward.
Christopher James Baker: Another member of the ISA, Christopher James Baker is another villain cut down at the end of season 1. As Brainwave, Baker was a brilliant, but evil man who had no problem killing his own son. And after having his throat slit by Yolanda after he tried to impersonate young Henry, it’s safe to say we won’t be dealing with this bad guy again.
Nelson Lee: A third member of the ISA who was killed at the end of season 1 of DC’s Stargirl was none other than the Dragon King. His death came at the hands of his own daughter and is one of those deaths that was both shocking (because of who killed him) and yet not surprising. All things considered, this is a character we won’t really miss.
Other actors who will likely not be back include Joy Osmanski, Neil Hopkins, and Hina Khan. Again, these three members of the ISA were killed at the end of the season and are unlikely to be making a comeback.
