DC TV: Who’s in, who’s out on The Flash, Batwoman, Titans and more
Batwoman season 2 cast: Who’s in for season 2?
Javicia Leslie: Perhaps one of the biggest bombshells of 2020 for DC TV might have been the news that we were getting a new Batwoman heading into season 2 of the series. While Javicia Leslie will be taking on the mantle of Batwoman, she will be playing a brand new character, Ryan Wilder, an independent and self-sufficient woman who is street smart. Even with this being a new character entirely, Ryan feels like a good fit for the role of Batwoman. Of course, we will have to wait to see Leslie in action, but I certainly have faith in this pivot for the series.
Shivaani Ghai: We are finally getting to meet Safiyah, a character we have heard about often enough and yet never been properly introduced to. Luckily for us, that will all change in season 2 once Shivaani Ghai joins the cast in a recurring role.
Leah Gibson: Leah Gibson will also be joining the cast of Batwoman in a recurring role, as the character The Whisper/Tatiana. This character is described as a skilled assassin who works with Safiyah. In fact, this character has a very interesting relationship with Safiyah which may just give us plenty of drama and intrigue to keep us entertained.
Nathan Owens: And another recurring role goes to Nathan Owens who will be coming in to play the role of Ocean, a loyal fighter who is looking for a new beginning when he moves to Gotham. Ocean is described as a “zen gardner and thinker,” which should make things interesting heading into season 2.
Other actors we expect to see heading into the second season include the rest of the core cast which means seeing more of Rachel Skarsten, Dougray Scott, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, and Nicole Kang.
