The Walking Dead: World Beyond: [SPOILER] dies in horrific scenes
The Walking Dead: World Beyond had its first major fatality in a gruesome moment that fans didn’t see coming. Spoilers ahead.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond has been on TV screens for six weeks now, and during that time, we have gotten to know the show’s core group of characters. The AMC TWD spin-off has been a slow-burn, introducing us to Iris Bennett (Aliyah Royale), her sister Hope (Alexa Mansour), Silas Plaskett (Hal Cumpston), Elton Ortiz (Nicolas Cantu), Felix Carlucci (Nico Tortorella) and Huck (Annet Mahendru), as well as newcomers Percy (Ted Sutherland) and his uncle Tony (Scott Adsit).
Though World Beyond has received some criticism for its slow pacing, things have been moving along at a much quicker rate on the show in recent episodes. That was certainly the case in the latest offering, “Truth or Dare”, which closed out with an unexpected death – giving the show its first major kill.
Who died in The Walking Dead: World Beyond season 1, episode 7?
The episode’s final sequence saw Iris return from the makeshift art gallery that Percy designed for her in the back of the Civic Republic truck. She woke after hearing a noise back in their hideout and rushed in looking for Percy. However, she found Percy’s uncle, Tony, dead after apparently being attacked with Silas’ giant spanner wrench.

Across from Tony’s body was Silas who was seemingly intoxicated after drinking more alcohol and it seemed as though he was the one who committed the unspeakable deed on Percy’s uncle. Remember, the show has been intent on highlighting his history of violence and we saw that first-hand when he destroyed a walker’s head with his bare hands. Is this also how Tony died? And was Silas the one responsible?
Is Percy dead on The Walking Dead: World Beyond?
The fate of Percy remains up in the air. He was nowhere to be seen when the Endlings discovered his uncle Tony’s body and Silas’ distaste for the character does suggest that fans should be concerned for him – especially considering how he doesn’t like the fact that he’s grown closer to Iris.
However, as he’s known to be illusive and efficient, Percy could have escaped Silas’ wrath or maybe there’s something else going on entirely. We’ll find out in next week’s episode of The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
