WandaVision: First look at Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau’s Spectrum

WandaVision is on the horizon and fans are excited to see Monica Rambeau become Spectrum. It seems we might finally have a glimpse of what she’ll look like…

As revealed by some official Marvel merchandise (H/T: Heroic Hollywood), we now have an inkling as to what Monica Rambeau’s Spectrum costume could look like. Portrayed by Teyonah Parris, Monica will play an important role in Disney Plus‘ first Marvel Cinematic Universe series WandaVision.

Undoubtedly one of the most anticipated shows on next year, WandaVision will be headlined by Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as the pair reprise their big-screen MCU roles as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Vision.

The show will mark the second appearance of Monica Rambeau in the MCU as she appeared as a child in the 2019 film Captain Marvel. Here, however, she will be an adult – something that has spawned intrigue from the fans who are hoping to see her become Spectrum in the miniseries.

It turns out that the bizarre series is the strange gift that just keeps on giving as it does indeed look like we’ll be seeing Spectrum show up in WandaVision.

As revealed by Twitter account @BRMarvelNews, new keyrings have been produced for the series and one of those keyrings features none other than Monica. However, she’s wearing what appears to be a black and white uniform (much like her comic book counterpart), making it seem as though she will become Spectrum in the Disney Plus show.

With WandaVision‘s debut only a little over a month away, there were already plenty of reasons to look forward to the MCU installment – it is, after all, our first MCU adventure in a year and a half – but this has made things all the more exciting.

WandaVision will debut on Disney Plus on January 15, 2021.
