3. Danielle Panabaker in Christmas Joy

Danielle Panabaker has been offering up endearing performances as Caitlin Snow on The Flash for over six years now, while also setting aside some time to be a total badass as Caitlin’s icy other half Killer Frost. However, during her stint on The CW’s most successful TV show of all time, she appeared in a delightfully festive tale that we absolutely need to tell you about.

Airing on Hallmark in 2018, Christmas Joy saw the Arrowverse star portray a character named – you guessed it! – Joy. And if that’s not reason enough to watch it, then you’ll be happy to know that it’s as joyous as Christmas movies come. Okay, we’ll stop with the puns, now.

The film sees Joy return home to Crystal Falls to help her aunt in winning a Cookie Crawl. Naturally, she crosses paths with her old high school friend Ben Andrews and they catch up during the festive season, realizing that the true joy of Christmas is love.

One of the many examples of why the conventions of a Christmas movie will never grow tired, Christmas Joy is a heartfelt holiday must… and seriously why haven’t you seen it yet?
