6. Maxwell Lord

Wonder Woman 1984 saw The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal takes on the role of the bad guy as Maxwell Lord, who is a struggling con man looking to make it big with the help of the Dreamstone so he can make everyone’s wish come true. This villain is a nice change of pace, and his nefarious ways are a great opposite to Diana’s Truth-wielding motives. Lord works in the Wonder Woman sequel, but his stick gets somewhat repetitive and a bit annoying at times. His antics come off like Kilgrave from Jessica Jones, and he more so resembles a villain one would see on a forgotten episode of Batman: The Animated series, resulting in his mid-level ranking.

5. Ocean Master

Aquaman’s Brother Orm or Ocean Master, played by Patrick Wilson, was the main antagonist of his self-titled solo debut on the big screen and proved to be a formidable foe for the hard-hitting half-Atlantean. His plan was pretty solid, and he showed no hesitation when he needed to take out his enemies mercilessly. This ambitious evildoer was one of the few that could eventually return and possibly be a threat once again. It would also stand to reason that other heroes would have issues with him if they had to take him on, showcasing that he is a substantial menace armed with enough replay value to give him a decent spot on the bad guy DCEU rankings.
