2. What the heck is going on in Westview and how is Wanda pregnant?

In perhaps the most heart-warming moment of WandaVision‘s double-premiere (which, in all fairness, featured a number of heart-warming moments), Wanda discovered that she was pregnant. Again, this was a beautiful moment but how did it happen overnight? Well, it wasn’t even overnight was it – it was simply spoken into existence.

It’s easy to suggest that this is just one of the indicators of the pair’s combined power, but it could also be a side-effect of the place their living in. Speaking of which, is Westview the reason that Wanda and Vision can’t remember why they’re even there? Is it the reason that life looks like a sitcom and that color can be dramatically switched on and off with the twitch of a nose (or, in this case, the point of a finger)? Is it even real?

For some time now, fans have speculated that WandaVision is the creation of Wanda Maximoff herself and that, in response to Vision’s death in Avengers: Infinity War, she has created the idyllic life with him in it – one where their biggest problems revolve around work dinners and talent shows.

The premiere certainly seems to back this theory up but as nothing is set in stone when it comes to WandaVision, it’s probably too early to make assumptions. But something tells this writer that, by the end of the miniseries, it’s very much going to be a case of “we’re not in Westview anymore”.
