1. Wolverine and Weapon X

If there’s going to be a Wolverine movie or TV show in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we have to get Weapon X. In X-Men Origins: Wolverine, we didn’t get a memorable version of the clandestine organization but, as they’ve proven so many times before, Marvel Studios can make it happen – and make it happen well. In order to portray that, Weapon X needs to a lot darker than what we saw – like in the comics.

Logan was treated like an animal. He was caged and forced to fight bears and other military agents to show how strong and skilled he was. When he finally escaped, he killed almost everyone who got in his way. One of the victims in his way was Malcolm Colcord and Wolverine carved his face up while leaving him for dead. However, Malcolm ended up becoming the new Weapon X director and created a new and more dangerous program.

Like Romulus, Weapon X could be a constant thorn in Wolverine’s side in the MCU. Someone who Logan obsesses over because he feels like they’re always watching. Having Weapon X be this enigmatic place in Logan’s past helps with Wolverine’s tortured soul, especially if they become the same Weapon X that Malcolm Colcord ran. For decades, Weapon X has been the source of Logan’s tortured mind. It would make sense for them to be involved in the MCU – especially since Romulus was part of them as well.
