5. Taking Part in a Magic Show – for the Children

Episode 2’s storyline followed Wanda and Vision as they were preparing to impress their neighbors. The two had a whole act lined up – with the performance ending with Vision making Wanda “disappear.”

However, after Vision attends a neighbourhood watch meeting and accidentally swallows a stick of gum, the show goes array as the gum messes with his circuits (showcased by a hilarious graphic).

This results in Vision essentially acting like he had been down to the local bar and had a few too many drinks, with Vision hilariously displaying his powers in an attempt to win the talent show. The hilarity ensues as Wanda uses her magical abilities to come up with solutions as to how Vision is able to perform these “tricks.”

From levitating, lifting a piano and phasing a hat through his body, Vision makes Wanda work as he stumbles through the talent show. It is even more hilarious that the audience makes comments after every act. I feel sorry for the guy whose grandmother’s piano was transformed into a cardboard cutout.

The brilliant performances from Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen make this the most hilarious moment of the second episode, with the neighbourhood thinking so as well as they are crowned Comedy Act of the Year. A well-deserved award for the pair.
