4. Vision’s boss comes for dinner

When Vision and Wanda have a major miscommunication when it comes to the reasoning for their dinner, hilarity ensues as Wanda believes the dinner is for their anniversary. However, Vision brings his boss and his wife for dinner.

This results in Wanda trying to cook a three-course meal using her magical abilities, and Vision trying to distract their guests while dinner is being made.

Seeing Bettany sing “Yakkity Yak” and Wanda struggle in the kitchen was a moment that fans found amusing as the pair shine even when not on screen together. Wanda trying to use her seductive tips to distract Vision’s boss was also quite hilarious (having the couple explain away Wanda’s weirdness being due to her Sokovian heritage was also amusing).

However, the best part of the scene is when dinner is served and Vision’s boss tries to quiz the couple on where they are from and how long have they been married for. This scene revealed that Vision and Wanda do not remember their origin story and how they came to be in this place.

The result of the questioning is an out-of-nowhere horror scene where the boss begins to choke on his food, as Wanda and Vision watch the man nearly die. The sudden change of score, close ups and the repeated dialogue makes for a tense and horror-filled moment.

This was the first change of tone for the series, and after watching both episodes we can surely expect more terrifying scenes like this, as the characters discover all is not what it seems.
