WandaVision Episode 3 introduced the MCU to the first of the Young Avengers.

WandaVision‘s third episode has wasted little time confusing the heck out of viewers. The ’70s-themed installment paid homage to The Brady Bunch as Wanda Maximoff and Vision continued to integrate themselves into the community of WestView.

However, during Episode 3, “Now In Color”, the show just introduced Marvel Cinematic Universe fans to the very first of the Young Avengers.

How the Young Avengers debuted in the MCU in WandaVision

As we discovered last week in the Disney Plus show, Wanda became pregnant in a few short moments when her and Vision spoke of starting a family in WestView. From there, they saw the doctor – who confirmed that they were already months along into their pregnancy. And before long, Wanda ended up giving birth to two baby boys.

Ahead of going into labor, Wanda and Vision discussed names for their baby, with the former wanting Tommy and the latter setting his heart on Billy. In the end, however, babies made four and the parents decided to name their twin boys Billy and Tommy.

Marvel fans will, of course, know that Billy and Tommy are the names of Wanda and Vision’s twin sons in the source material. That’s right – in the comics, Billy and Tommy are Wiccan and Speed, the sons of Scarlet Witch and Vision.

Are the Young Avengers coming to the MCU?

The young Avengers have long-been rumored to be making their debut in the MCU, with fans theorizing that it might indeed happen at some point in Phase Four. We know that the future holds some kind of Avengers crossover project in the future, but in a post-Endgame world, it’s hard to know what that would look like. Is Young Avengers the answer?

We know that Ironheart is on her way to the MCU and fans have been speculating that Harley Keener would also follow in Iron Man’s footsteps by becoming Iron Lad. Could the two join forces with Wiccan and Speed? Hey, if Wanda’s pregnancy took place at an accelerated speed, what’s to stop the children from aging rather quickly too?
