6 terrifying comic book realities that would be the absolute worst places to live

These comic book universes are among the scariest.
When people think of comic book universes, their minds go to a few places – the original comic book universes, the movies, or TV shows. Since those are the main sources of continuity, it makes sense.
One of the many pluses about The CW’s DC Comics universe (a.k.a. the Arrowverse) is how they’ve explained the multiverse. Previous crossovers have highlighted that there are more than one universe, so now novice fans understand that there are alternate realities featuring alternate versions of their favorite characters – ones that differ from the ones they know. Sometimes they’re slight and other times they’re dramatic changes.
Comic books have done this for years. X-Men: Days of Future Past may be the most popular – and no, were not just talking about the movie. The original comic book series is one of the more famous Marvel Comics titles. It’s also a very tragic tale. It took place in a world where mutants were prisoners and lived under a 24 hour watch of Sentinels. As horrible as that is, this isn’t even the worst reality/universe out there in the comic books.
On that note, here some scary comic book realities. Some are post-apocalyptic universes, others are just dangerous on a different level. Regardless, these are not places you want to live.
