WandaVision: Who is Jimmy Woo and where in the MCU have you seen him before?
WandaVision introduced a pretty familiar face in its latest episode, but who is Jimmy Woo and when did we last meet the FBI agent?
WandaVision‘s existence as the latest property in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ties it to a shared universe of superheroes so vast that its hard to keep track of every major development that takes place there. It’s also hard to keep track of every character because so many actors have helped bring so many MCU characters to life over the past 12 years.
The Disney Plus series is headlined by two major MCU players as Elizabeth Olsen reprises her role as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany returns to his role as Vision. Teyonah Parris also stars as the adult version of Monica Rambeau (Geraldine) who we last met in Captain Marvel when she was a child. However, it turns out that the two Avengers and Monica aren’t the only familiar faces to pop up in the show.
Episode 4 of WandaVision featured not one but two familiar MCU characters. One of them was FBI Agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park). How do we know him?
Who is WandaVision’s Jimmy Woo in the MCU?
FBI Agent Jimmy Woo previously appeared in Ant-Man and The Wasp. He served as the probation officer of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and contributed to a number of the film’s funniest moments as he tried to ensure the hero behaved himself.
In WandaVision, he is investigating the mystery of Westview, the fact that it never existed and the missing people that were strangely pulled into the town with no memories as to who they were. During this time, he ends up working with fellow familiar MCU face Darcy Lewis.
The two returnees discovered all about the sitcom world that Wanda had created for herself and Vision. They then attempted to reach her and ultimately rescue Monica from the strange scenario.
WandaVision adds a new episode on Disney+ every Friday from midnight.
