WandaVision: 5 burning questions for Episode 5
4. Who is Agnes in WandaVision?
WandaVision Episode 4 answered a ton of questions that fans had about the series. One of those questions was the identities of some of the Westview residents, confirming that they all appear to be missing people from the real world. How they ended up in Wanda’s sitcom reality we do not know yet. However, there is one person whose name was mysteriously absent from the board.
While Agent Jimmy Woo and Darcy Lewis and the rest of their SWORD/FBI team figured out the real identities of the Westview residents, they didn’t come up with a real name for Agnes. That, of course, leaves us wondering if that was intentional or not.
Unlike the rest of the characters, Agnes (Kathryn Hahn) has played a huge role in Wanda and Vision’s sitcom, helping out the Scarlet Witch as their nosy neighbor and helping the newlyweds fit into Westview. We’ve constantly been wondering who she is but, as of yet, we haven’t been given the answers.
Could she be the person in the witness protection program that Jimmy Woo was trying to track down? Or are the rumors really true and is she actually Agatha Harkness in disguise?
(Interestingly enough, we never found out who Dottie (Emma Caulfield Ford) really is either. What does it all mean?)
3. What happens if Westview’s energy field radiation increases?
Episode 4 of WandaVision featured a number of chilling moments but perhaps one of the most quietly unnerving ones came when Darcy Lewis revealed that the radiation from the energy field outside of Westview was stable “for now”.
Naturally, we all have to wonder what happens if the radiation begins to increase? Of course, that’s not a good thing but considering we’re talking about an entity as powerful as the Scarlet Witch, how much could that radiation increase by? Moreover, could it increase everytime she gets angry? If that is indeed the case, the recent interruptions to her happiness could have devastating consequences for the MCU.
