2. Is Vision dead?

It’s the question we’ve been asking since WandaVision began and it still feels like we’re not that clear in terms of the answer. Vision was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War when the Mind Stone was ripped from his head, meaning that the undoing of the blip couldn’t have possibly brought the android back. And yet, we all hoped that he might have somehow avoided his dark fate because Wanda is, after all, the Scarlet Witch. However, Episode 4 did provide us with some evidence that the answer we feared may indeed be the one we’re going to get.

Agent Jimmy Woo and Darcy Lewis asked the same question we’ve been asking when they discovered that he was in the sitcom world with Wanda but that was only the beginning of the answers we’ve been waiting on.

The episode’s concluding scene picked up where last week’s episode left off and, following the stress she felt after sending Geraldine away, Wanda briefly saw a lifeless Vision, drained of color with the Mind Stone missing from his head. Undoubtedly a reference to real world, it unfortunately does seem like the real Vision may not have returned after all. And that means that Wanda’s attempts to cope with her grief over the loss of her beloved Avenger may not end well.
