WandaVision just introduced two major MCU characters
WandaVision Episode 4 reintroduced fans to some major characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
WandaVision has been providing Marvel Cinematic Universe fans with an adventure the likes of which the MCU has never seen before. Focusing on Wanda Maximoff and Vision’s quest for happiness, it has thrown bizarre situations, unexpected outcomes and a never-ending laugh-track at viewers.
Though none of us are really any clearer on what’s been happening, each subsequent episode has been adding a little bit more to the story, teasing some of the outcomes yet to come.
The latest episode, however, saw the Disney Plus series introduce two major characters from the MCU’s past. But who were they and what did they want?
Which MCU characters appeared in WandaVision Episode 4?
The fourth episode of WandaVision saw the returns of both Darcy Lewis and Agent Jimmy Woo. Woo assisted Monica Rambeau/Geraldine as she attempted to enter the mysterious forcefield that was Westview and then tried to track her down after she did, while Darcy watched the ongoing developments of WandaVision through a TV screen in SWORD’s base of operations just outside of Westview.
MCU fans will undoubtedly recognize both of those faces. Darcy Lewis is portrayed by Kat Dennings and appeared in both Thor and Thor: The Dark World. She was an intern of Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgård) and the assistant of Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). She ended up becoming a close friend of both and helped them through their run-ins with Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder, becoming a friend of Thor in the process.
Jimmy Woo is portrayed by Randall Park and he is an FBI agent that served as Scott Lang’s parole officer in the film Ant-Man and The Wasp.
Woo and Lewis were both working together to solve the the mystery of whatever is going on in Westview and how Wanda figures into it.
