Black Lightning season 4, episode 1 live stream: Watch online
Black Lightning season 4 premieres on The CW with the first episode of its final season. Here’s how you can watch it online.
This Monday, a new episode of Black Lightning season 4 premieres on The CW. The long-running TV series, now considered an Arrowverse show, has been off-screens for nearly a year. Now, it returns with new episodes.
In a year that saw most TV productions forced to shut down before the end of the TV season, Black Lightning actually got to wrap up its whole third season. Like DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, it shoots less episodes and, as a result, it managed to finish production before the whole film and TV landscape was shut down because of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
It’s sadly the end of an era for Black Lightning. The show will return for its fourth season tonight, but this will also be the final time the show returns. The CW announced a number of months back that the show would end after season 4 concludes, making it the third Arrowverse show to end after Arrow and Supergirl (though its run is expected to finish before the latter’s).
The fourth season will focus on Jefferson Pierce’s (Cress Williams) anger over the events of season 3. The loss of a friend results in grief that becomes anger as he vows to never again be Black Lightning. How long will it be before Freeland needs a hero once more?
